Public Enemy #3: akinari-kunImagine, for a moment, if you will: Scott Von Schilling. Now subtract 48 IQ points, half a language mastery, and three ranks on the “Weeaboo (1/10) => Reasonable (10/10)” scale. Pretty atrocious, right? But what I have outlined can be dealt with. It’s nothing harmful, nothing frightening. How do we dispose of SVS? We ignore him. How do we dispose of Weeaboo Fantastique akinari-kun? Well, we would ignore him, but for one little catch. He has commandeered the Yukan! blog. At first glance, this didn’t seem so insidious. He had the blessing of an old Yukanner, supposedly, and he responded positively to the first comment posted on his announcement: a cordial greeting from Ryan. “What?” you ask: “I don’t see any comments on that post!” Yeah, that’s the main reason I brought up SVS. After I backed him into a corner—an innocent line of questioning made him feel uncomfortable with his own motivations, it would seem—he turned off comments and deleted the thread. Don’t worry, it can still be read, albeit in PNG form. Thanks go to otou-san for hosting the following screenshot:
(kimaguresan has been kind enough to host a backup of the entire page, comments included: yukanblog.htm) Frankly, I am disgusted. Disgusted at this guy’s agenda. Why does he want Yukan!? What’s there in it for him? He’s already got his own piss-poor team blog (no, seriously, it’s shit). The team he’s bringing with him is his team, not the old Yukan! folks. What’s Yukan! without blissmo? And then the nerve: to remove lelangir and otou-san’s admin access? And then the sleaze: to delete the comments! Protip to Mr. Yukan!-wannabe: go delete all the spam comments that have built up on Yukan! over the years like so many layers of Trojan dust before you ‘revive’ the blog. As for me, I’m with kimaguresan up to the point of being lost at “SUGOI,” but this is Dr. lolikit we’re talking about. I can’t pass, I can’t hold back, I can’t refrain. I shall indulge in my own agenda, and it is crystal clear what that is! Moritheil can sit back and watch; I’m gathering torches and pitchforks. This is war. Thanks lolikit <3 … I think you got right to the point I didn't want to make in my comment. I think the entire point is that any of the Yukan authors could have posted there as they liked, but they didn't; blissmo shut it down, so what's the point of reviving it.
I'd like to think the Yukan authors didn't post after it closed as a respect to blissmo's decision. This move makes no sense IMO. There's only one person in my mind who can make this right, or make this work, and she's probably not going to show up.

I’m akinari-kun, webmaster of SUTORAIKUanime, along with ex-Yukan Blog writer Kaze. We’re interested in taking over Yukan Blog and revamping it as SUTORAIKUanime. We have tried to get in contact with numerous members of Yukan, but we’re facing difficulties as some of the members’ sites are already inactive, along with their site email accounts.
Basically, we need to get a point of blissmio, but it’s pretty damn hard lol considering everyone is dead.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of blissmio or if she has an active email account that she uses now, please let me know!

Which suggests that yeah, they’re trying to work off the back of the name. Which strikes me as lazy at best and borderlne-dishonest at worst. I’d certainly like the opportunity to ask them what they intend to do and why, which makes the deletion even more suspicious. Weird.
