2009 Anime Blog Awards are on the Horizon |

At least it only has 7 comments and 816 views.
The ABA committee is kicking things off, as I “leaked” a few weeks back.
Kabitzin wrote a better post about this than I ever could. Go check it out. Mad props to him for approaching the ABAs with such reason and constructive thought, and for being quicker to combo than any idiots other than myself (and I was extremely premature).
Before we go much farther, though, let it be known: I do not intend to use Jason Miao’s victory in “Funniest” in 2008 become a point of contention or competition between myself and that man.
Miao on My Mind will be dismantled soon. Look forward to it[1].

My place in the ’sphere is no longer one of hatred, you see. I’m rapidly approaching my three year anniversary as lolikitsune (that’ll be about three and a half years as an aniblogger) which puts me in the “venerable” stage. As such, I need to start acting my age. I won the victory against Jason over a year and a half ago, and MoMM was extremely untimely (really, I just happened to achieve a nirvana-like balance of web skills and memescope in October). I explained this to ghosty and he seemed to understand.
I’m laying the hate aside as best I can.

Err, isn’t your position on the blog sphere ALWAYS of hatred? You’re approaching your three year anniversary as a troll, which puts you into the a**h**e stage.
But yes, you do need to start acting your age, and you need to troll less. I appreciate this move to seriousness, and this character ecdysis (I hope).
