your thoughts have summoned this post from hell so, as i pray... Home > Archives > 2008 > November > 11 What I marathoned because I had too little intelligence #2: Ginban Kaleidoscope2.14x show. Actually, there are parts where it’s best to slow it down a few notches to almost 1x; these are generally when Tazusa is consuming comical quantities of tomatoes or when awesome stuff is happening (the last episode). The show was not bad, just also not good. There was a lot of funny stuff in the first two episodes, but the show became way too serious way too quickly. I’d recommend that everyone watch a couple episodes of this show for the experience, ’cause it’s got a Canadian stunt pilot ghost named Pete Pumps (porno name, anyone?) possessing a tsundere Japanese middle school figure skater. That’s a formula that needs to be witnessed for at least two dozen minutes of one’s life. The whole show, on the other hand, is probably just a waste of time. |
it is moist & delicious meta and it's not even a lie! 6 ResponsesLeave a Comment |

I quite enjoyed it actually. The animation quality was meh but considering I’m apathetic towards sports in general it was a fun experience and I got quite a few laughs out of it.
I’ll be blogging about the series in the next few days and will acknowledge your part in it accordingly. Yeah, you got me watching shoujo-friendly Canadian ghost figure-skating anime and I LIKED IT. That good deed of yours really shouldn’t go unpunished.

I enjoyed it too, which is why I watched it. But I didn’t enjoy it enough to think it was a good use of time.

See, Ginban Kaleidoscope was at the very least decent.

I think I said in my post that it wasn’t bad… and I gave it a 6/10, which is above average. I would have given it a 7 if they’d kissed.
