With the recent developments in Episode 9 of DMC, we see a show with a crappier premise than Gunslinger Girl’s and a crappier main character than Lucky Star’s and a crappier dedication to realism than Aria’s drill its way into my Top 10 All-Time Anime list. I don’t know whether it’s replacing Loveless, or Maria-sama ga Miteru, or Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, or some other pansy show—in large part because I don’t actually have a set-in-stone Top 10 All-Time Anime list—but it’s replacing something. And why?
