My thoughts exactly. Okay, so it has shoujo-ai overtones at times but this is the show that wowed me into thinking “so you CAN have a beach episode that’s completely innocent and fanservice free!” I still don’t know how they managed to pull that off.
It’s times like this that I’m glad I have a multiregion player (i.e. chances of a R2 UK edition: slim to none).
