As for Cornelia she barely did anything in R2 except look hot and it's been a long time since I watched R1, but I don't remember her being any worse than any of the other Britannians. She was just stronger with more power. Lelouch needed a good enemy like that. I'm sorry that her character became pointless and the final boss ended up being the apathetic Schneizel. Oh, and I think C.C. was happy because Lelouch finally achieved his goal - making the world a better place. And she finally achieved hers - she can die now that she lost the code. Which was all thanks to Lelouch, in a way. The internet has totally ruined this ending for me with their insistence that Lelouch lives. I can't watch it without wanting to bang my head on my desk.
