The shows which I will watch one episode of and then flame to hell and drop this Fall

I referred to THAT’s amazingly helpful resource and compiled a list of all the anime I will try to watch come October.

This was two days ago, now, and there’s no way I’m going to reread that post, so I unfortunately cannot tell you why I picked what I did. I like to think I tended to polarize at the two ends of the fail spectrum (you know, fail, and less fail) and went with shows I thought I’d either like or hate, but no guarantees. The “resource” wasn’t too resourceful and I ended up making some wild guesses. Anyway, expect at least one post each on all of these shows, and expect at least half of those to be scathing:

ChäoS;HEAd
ef – a tale of melodies
Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka
Kurogane no Linebarrel
Toradora!
Skip Beat
Shikabane Hime: Aka
Clannad ~After Story~
Michiko to Hatchin
Kannagi
Tales of the Abyss

With any luck I’ll be blogging regularly this fall. I don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t be. Other than, you know, having a job (or two, or three). And maybe trying my hand at NaNoWriMo. Anyway, there should be some free time in there which I can dedicate to bashing shit.

In less well news, I’m down a weapon from my arsenal.

graphs.

And why am I down graphs?

Because fucking Steve fucking Jobs and fucking Apple fucking broke fucking Photoshop fucking 7 in fucking Leopard.

Thankfully, Google, in classic Athena-senpai style, is still pretending to be an ally of mine:

google rocks

I shall learn this Google Charts thing, and I shall use it well.

it is moist & delicious meta

and it's not even a lie!

  1. Most of those season previews are usually vague and you are shooting in the dark when it comes to picking whats to watch. But I think those kinds of post are good in at least giving you an idea of what the hell is coming out.

  2. I got pretty close to actually meeting the word count on NaNoWriMo last year, though what I wrote was complete and utter random dross. It made the typical Sunrise production look well planned and structurally solid, although I was rather pleased that I managed to stretch out a conversation relating to a girl taking off her hat to almost 1000 words.

That said, I’m sorely tempted to try again this year with something completely different, if equally awful.

  3. my previous comment was cut short due to circuit outage via tropical storm… graph on!

  4. I tried NaNoWriMo last year but went nowhere with it. I’ll try again this year if my studies allow :)

And go Windows :) Enjoy your Mac OS X.

  5. Everything’s worked fine except fucking Photoshop 7. Oh and cover flow, that shit needs to stop existing.

  6. JUST AS KEIKAKU … NAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

  7. Since you quit Mizunashi Mode prematurely, in September you can make it up by doing a Left Hand Appreciation Month.

  8. That sounds suteki, but I’m left handed (didn’t you watch me drawing?).

  9. As any civilized individual, I look past left-handedness, just like I look past race, religion, and sexuality. For all I know you’re a right-handed black female Buddhist.

  10. NaNoWriMo… maybe I ought to try my hand at it for once.

Oh, and I am seriously looking forward to CHAOS;HeaD. Judging from the source material alone, this should be good. Of course assuming Madhouse doesn’t screw it up. The staff’s previous works alone should make this… interesting, if that’s any way to go.
