your thoughts have summoned this post from hell so, as i pray... Home > Archives > 2008 > August > 12 First things first: I have a computerMy time in Baltimore at Otakon this past weekend was _amazing_. I will write in greater depths on this topic soon, probably tomorrow. I see lots of reports flooding in from all the people I met there, and these make me happy. The most important thing for me to get across right now is this: I have a laptop of my own again, and it’s mostly functional! I can like, watch anime and do work and stuff on it. This means I’ll be blogging more “real” things soon. (I haven’t gotten Photoshop 7 to work yet, so I can’t get my graph on. But. Soon.) Anyway anyway, I’m excited. :) |
it is moist & delicious meta and it's not even a lie! 7 ResponsesLeave a Comment |

So anime leeching is still a wonderful thing to do in Akari mode.
Anyway, congratz to you.

Hahaha, no, it’s not really wonderful. I was going to edit this post with a resolution regarding piracy just now, actually, but then I saw your comment. Being able to view video files does not equate to leeching, though. Theoretically, I could be using my new comp as a glorified DVD player or some such. There’s also legit streaming anime.
But YEAH, it’s a flaw of mine. I can’t be perfect. I need some animu :o Mizunashi Mode is more about interaction with other people than perfecting one’s lifestyle.

My laptop is small and cute with a hard gay sticker on it. I’m banking that nobody recognises that I have hard gay on it when I take it out. If they do, I would be embarrased because I would look gay but I could always hit them with it because it’s so hard.
Wait! Before you jump to conclusions, I am deffo still talking about my Laptop here…

Good to see you back online – looking forward to lulzworthy convention stories too.
I have to say I quite like my laptop, although its getting a bit old and slow and freezes up on startup occasionally. There’s nothing quite like an episode of Frontier on full widescreen…
