your thoughts have summoned this post from hell so, as i pray... Home > Archives > 2008 > June > 12 Turning points‚Äîmilestones in lifeI’m not a high school student anymore. It’s officially summer vacation for me, now. I have thirteen days of it before my job at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory starts. That’ll go six and a half weeks and then I’ll be flying over to Otakon (Pip! Os! I’ll hammer out details with you soon!). After that I’ll have until January to do with as I please, be it writing, art, contract web design, helping out English teachers at the school I just left, or maybe watching some anime. And then, in January, I start at U.C. Berkeley. Oh man oh man, shit’s flying by quick. Also, a note on my lack of activity and lack of anime blogging even when I’m active (as is the case right now—see, this is a blog post, I’m writing it, I’m blogging, and yet… it’s not anime blogging)—I’ve been without computer for a while. A friend accidentally broke my laptop at my birthday party on Saturday, and since then I’ve only had little snippets of internet—most of them on my brother’s OLPC, which is cool and all but pretty incapable as far as my needs go. This is why I haven’t watched anime in a week and why I haven’t blogged anything, either. Apologies. EDIT: also, apparently my blog’s the best blogger-targeted satire in the aniblogosphere. Sad state of the aniblogosphere if you ask me, but eh, thanks for your support, fellow bloggers. |

Out of high school? Great now the good part of your life can began. Just to let you know high school sucks compared to college. I hated high school and I’m so glad that it was 10 years ago. Enough time to forget about it.
