But uh, in all seriousness, it's probably because I've become really disillusioned with (MMO)RPGs I used to love them, but seeing the same plot elements endlessly rehashed, even more so than you see in anime, really turns you off. With that negative connotation in mind, perhaps it's easier to see where my "meh" reaction is coming from. Also, wow, the ending of Shana II failed hard. I RAGED. Noooooo, I have disgraced you!

I used to love them, but seeing the same plot elements endlessly rehashed, even more so than you see in anime, really turns you off. With that negative connotation in mind, perhaps it’s easier to see where my “meh” reaction is coming from.
