A quick note to any True Tears watchers |

At least it only has 21 comments and 1,130 views.
I called it from day one. No, I can’t prove that—I wasn’t blogging in January. But I swear I called it, if only via proxy of my distaste for Noe’s brand of insanity.
Seriously, TT noefags. She didn’t even have an unhappy ending. Her brother’s still pumping her full of money, she has friends, Jibeta’s coop got repaired, and she was key to the development of a guy she cared a lot about. And furthermore, it’s arguable that she didn’t even love Shinichiro in a manner deserving the kind of relationship that he comes to have with Hiromi.
In conclusion, to anyone who is bitter about Noe “not winning”:
go search the cardboard box for some interesting pictures and let those satisfy your nasty desires.
True Tears is by no means a good show and by no means a worthless show. Actually, by some means it could be either. I don’t want to go into that here and now. All I’m saying is that characters are characters and they serve the greater plot and it’s not about who “wins” but what happens in the end. In the end, Noe got a pretty good deal for someone who should be diagnosed clinically insane.

I can’t tell whether you’re mocking me (and therefore didn’t read my post), or whether you’re using me as an illustrative example of why Noe didn’t have a “unhappy ending”, since the post you link essentially agrees with your point, except perhaps a bit more positively.

Well, sorry for liking a good character.
I barely even know what “noefag” is supposed to represent, except I guess I qualify as one, since I happen to like her. It didn’t really bug me that she “lost”, though, since I too figured she would “lose” out in the end, for all the points you and I stated. The particular moment you’re referencing was the last shred of hope dying a woeful death in my heart.
So, in other words, I think you picked a bad example to illustrate the theoretical construct of “noefag”. :)

I’m not going to bother reasoning why she’s a better character than Hiromi, if a certain hellhole of an image board is any indication, all I’ll get in return is a “Crymoar Noefag, your tears only make my penis harder”, or something along those lines.
I’ll concede that she didn’t really “lose” though, her ending was rather happy. If anyone, I think Shin lost, it’s only a matter of time before Hiromi decapitates him for looking at another female.
