Unlike non-emo, non-loser, “win” anime bloggers, I was not invited to partake in this discussion. Also note that I’m aware of the lack of grammar in this post’s title; technically it should be “entertaining” but I decided to chimaerize my post title with a word describing this discussion as it is now: entertainment. Others who have participated in this “entertainment” include, but are not limited to, Paul, N, Hige, Hidoshi, and Impz. DrmChsr0 (who used to be above this, kind of like me) also participated, though I don’t think he was invited (kind of like me). Also, some others may or may not have jumped on the bandwagon because of ANO (yay community!!).

Finally, this all happened because Owen is a piece of shit (I love you, Owen).

Now the prompt is “Anime isn’t deep, it’s entertainment” and the goal is to defend, qualify, or challenge it. Basically, everyone who answered this prompt said the same thing, though Owen took an elitist approach and Drm said it in the best way possible (while still making an ass of himself and looking like a total dipshit): it’s up to the individual consumer. If everyone says the same thing it’s kind of like the angry man’s perspective on ARIA—one idiot smiling at another idiot, etc. Here we have one idiot saying the same thing another idiot said… you get the picture?

Before I go any further, please don’t be upset with me and how offensive I’m being.

So, moving on, instead of saying the same thing as everyone else said (because they were right, and I do agree), allow me to bring something new to the table. And by new I mean old. Remember my first Lucky Star post? Where I called Kyoto Animation whores, and kind of stomped on the opinions of every other anime viewer in existence? (By the way, Minoruism is coming. Talk about whores.) Well, this is kind of like that:

ANIME IS A WHORE.

The viewer watches fucks her, and in doing so, goes DEEP in and is ENTERTAINED.

I really shouldn’t have to elaborate further. But I will:

The people to whom I linked above, who wrote all those deep posts about the deepness/lack thereof of anime—well, those DEEP posts were pretty DEEP, weren’t they? I could say something like “deep posts are deep” but instead I’ll say “whores are whores.”

Yes, I am this angry with Owen. Yes, the fact that AIR is being marketed as “from the creators of [SHIT SHOW I WON'T EVEN WRITE OUT THE TITLE OF]” pisses the shit out of me. I also may or may not be having my period. I should be happy because Lovely Kitsune brought back his BBS, and I should be happy because I have wet dreams about Minoru, and I should be happy because I just ordered the first volume of AIR—but I’m not.
