Episode seven of Lucky Star has shown me the way!! More seriously though, wow, the Marimite thing really shocked me. In the like, “wow, this is actually funny. In that they’re parodying Marimite.” And then five seconds later they’re actually discussing Marimite. C’mon KyoAni, I love you, but don’t beat the horse, k? (this post will be edited with MOAR fanboying once I get past … er, yeah, this is within the first 2.5 minutes of the episode, OP included) EDIT 1: Miyuki is playing the Rosa Foetida role with the tooth getting pulled EDIT 2: Konata watches Strawberry Panic (in other words she’s a complete fucking moron, but I love her for it) EDIT 3: Tsukasa presses cellphone buttons and moans EDIT 4: Konata’s ringtone is Hare Hare Yukai. This is slipping back into the storm drain EDIT 5: Konata luvs girls wif glasses. EDIT 6: was that manga Loveless? EDIT 7: the guy on Lucky Channel… was Yumi EDIT 8: this show is fucking awesome EDIT 9: I must have been drunk when I wrote this post. Let me fix what’s been destroyed with this image, that so conveniently conveys my passion and friendship (and honest opinions). |

I watch Lucky Star every week while eating a bowl of fake American ramen. It really helps.
Regardless of how terrible the episode (or, indeed, the series in its entirety) may be, I have a delicious bowl full of instant noodles in front of me. That can only sway my opinion in a positive direction.
