I’m really milking this asshole thing for all it’s worth. Apologies, Leon, if my previous stunt made you uncomfortable in any way. Consider it appreciation, or respect, or a manifestation of some such feeling.
Let’s take a look-see at that 2007 spring season, shall we?
-Sola
-Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo
I’m going to be watching these two for sure. Each for two reasons, making a total of three. The first, shared reason is title.Sola has a retarded name and KonoYaku has an awesome name. Retarded names and awesome names are both excellent reasons to watch a show. Beyond that, Sola is supposedly written in part by Key? And KonoYaku has the word “aozora” in its title.
Now, I’ve been doing the insufferable asshole thing a lot lately, but not so much the “I have impeccable tastes noob” bit. So here we go.
AIR is the second best TV show ever. My taste is impeccable. Bitch.
That said, Key translates to awesome anime, and the insert song from AIR that gets played when Kami-Kami dies (wtfspoiler!!) is the best insert song ever. Key being Key and that insert song being Aozora, Sola and KonoYaku are both going to be dreadfully awesome.
… putting the whole, flaunting my taste thing aside, Sola is most likely going to suck (unless they go emo), and KonoYaku’s atmosphere will most likely be its only good point (hell, they got a theme by Kotoko, but it sucks). I’ll blog both of these if the subs are consistent enough.

The season as a whole is pretty uninteresting. Things I’m looking forward to this year:
-Suzumiya Haruhi no 2nd season: it’ll be excellent fodder
-Higurashi no Naku Koro ni 2nd season: jason’s posts about it will be excellent fodder
-KGNE Haruka bullshit: god make her shut up, god hit her with a car, please, please, please!!
