My Blogroll – the ups, downs, and unknowns

Naw, there aren’t any downs. You’re all awesome people.

shimai

2haremless :: I hooked up a link exchange with 2haremless during tehpooch’s first days, and frankly I haven’t really been reading this blog. I browse the site every now and then, and it seems like half the content is Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu-fanboyings. I have nothing against people liking what they like, but I feel no obligation to read posts like this. Due to not reading the site thoroughly, I’m not that familiar with the writers. Eh well.

a stone and a small ripple :: Roxas is a pretty chill guy, and is in #animenano quite often. I don’t read his site because I read his posts in my newsreader, and quite frankly, they don’t stand out much, while well-written. Good to note that he likes d’Eon, but a lot of people are oohing and aahing over it at the moment.

Anime Desho Desho :: I should hate on this site for its SHnY header image, but rather I’m just happy that this fellow loves Ichigo Mashimaro and supports my post on the lack of killer lolis in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Rock on.

AnimeLife :: scottfrye is a cool dude who offered to help #animenano in its first days, before even jpmeyer or psgels became OPs. He has recently finished watching End of Eva, which made him emo. Scott likes SHnY and dislikes Ouran, and thinks that this summer season looks like crap even though it includes such platinum hits as Tsuyokiss and PPG Z. Silly guy, and he refuses to watch Loveless.

Ai to Yuuki no Otogibanashi :: an intelligent anime blog (unlike mine) run by an intelligent person (unlike me) whose presence and epenis activate my inferiority complex. Often have random odd premonitions that he is laughing at me. He wrote a post at my behest much like many others, only this one had more words than any of the posts in which we used crappy graphs to make fun of jason. In this post, he acknowledges how kickass my francophilia is and links to an old emo blog of mine from January. I knew I should have deleted that thing.

Utawarerumono :: a blogspot blog, this has about a 500% larger chance of being selected for blogsuki than notdotq. I haven’t really read this blog at all, I just started linking to it when I noticed it linking to me. The writer of this blog is also the guy who calls me “lk”, which is anti-cool, because lk will always be lovelykitsune.

Stupid Tongue Twister :: a blog run by the person who owns and dominates Anime Nano. He’s a lolicon, a ddr addict, and all sorts of other crazy things, including an unnatural hatred of daikon. The blog’s classified as tsundere on Seth’s blogroll. I wonder why.

Chotto Matte! :: I’ve never read this blog and most likely never will. But it has a cool name, and the writer is a chill guy. He lol’d at what I said about Swedish war prisoners in Denmark back in late June, so he’s cool in my book.

Everything and Nothing :: Lupus writes this blog, and professes not to watch much anime. What a loser. He hasn’t watched all of Zegapain and thusly doesn’t deserve to watch any anime. What a loser. *ahem* What I mean is that the dude’s chill and more intelligent than your average anime blogger who dumbs his/herself down with more than 3 episodes of anime a week on a regular basis.

Minaide! Hazukashii… :: the future home of jpmeyer’s blog.

Gnostic Lone Wolf Poetry :: run by Seth Johnson, this site’s strong point is its retarded blogroll that organizes blogs by fetish. At least he pinpointed my correctly as loli, but from what I gather many people are unhappy with their rankings.

Hige vs. Otaku :: the guy freakin’ looks like Asuma and supposedly blogs anime to practice writing. Crazy.

Hopeless Sensei’s Anime Blog :: a while back this fellow convinced me that he was bright with a post about Fate/Stay-night. He doesn’t come around IRC much (at all?) so I’ve never spoken with him, but our comment exchanges left me with the idea that he was comfortably hard gay for me. He makes a lot of not-fully-serious posts, akin in nature to this one of mine.

ikimashou.net :: it’s .net and thusly sucks. The end.

Kono Sono~ :: one of the first blogs to acknowledge my pitiful existence in the anime blogging community, the team there was also the first group of people to aid me in bringing loliyuri ice cream to google. To this day they employ my brilliance and innovative catch phrases in their blog posts, and make me feel very good about myself.

Kuropon’s Anime Blog :: I call it that but really I’m just being an idiotic and making reference to crappy jokes within a subpar anime series. Kurogane calls my blogging “pure winnage”, which can be shortened to another kind of “pwnage”, so I return the favor. He’s a lolicon and lusts after Sakura of CLAMP fame. He links to jason, though, so that’s minus points. Actually, everyone does except for me.

Loli Yuri Mania :: I seriously know nothing about this blog, but the title has the words loli and yuri in it so I must link to it according to rule #12 of running notdotq.

lolicontrol :: intelligent blogger with intelligent posts, and an awesome method of censoring to boot. He’s contributed a lot ot several of the major discussions that have swept the anime blogging community since I started in March and that’s enough to earn my respect.

lolitron :: the coolest blog around. I started out linking to lolitron when I started out blogging, because it seemed like the most loli blog there was, and I was utterly shocked a couple weeks back to discover that lolitron was linking back to me. I guess comment spam does work :D

lunatic :: Kajiura Yuki fanboy. I approve. Good times with this guy in various commentings back in the first days of my blogging, and I especially like how he always agreed with me on things.

Onii-chan no Ecchi :: this isn’t an anime blog in the same way that AMV Hell 0 isn’t an anime music video. It’s a hentai blog, and it’s freakin’ awesome. Run by the same person who runs ikimashou.net, enhanced with boobage and loli and loliyuri and phlag meido, and, of course, an awesome .com domain name.

orz :: a brother in the constant laughable anti-Jason commentary, this fellow can be quite the pleasurable anger machine at times. I try to get him to write MOAR RAGE but he rarely puts out.

Paradox – Spectrum :: this guy talked about Rammstein in a post once. One of the more memorable things I ever read, though I completely forgot what the post was about. Was it about The Third? Or the OP of Black Lagoon? Memory, memory. Anyway, cool blog.

Renegade Anime Blog :: corydorf, the girl, runs this blog. I just told him how much he sucks in IRC. He uses graphs in a serious manner, meaning that he’s a jason fanboy with no future. He calls me awesome in a post in which he says countless assertive things that go against my beliefs, so I’m convinced that he secretly has some kind of anti-lolikit grudge.

RIUVA :: re-home of the ever-infamous Tripeman, the trifutamango, RIUVA is the best blog there is. The writer tj han is capable of seducing sexy cosplayers and sexxing three chicks at once. He’s an Ichigo Mashimaro fan, and writes well, and has braved meeting insane bloggers such as DrmChsr0 face to face. In short, he’s the coolest guy on the block.

shtuff: anime blogage :: I added this person when I saw a post about lolis. That was today. I still know nothing about this site and won’t pretend to.

Strangely Common Anime Blog :: after this person agreed with me on Akazukin being win, I had to add them. Followers deserve links >:)

YY sucks :: Whai Whai you fucking suck. Go die in a shit hole somewhere.

Wakaranai :: solid episode-by-episode reviews. First anime blog I read after lovelykitsune. Will always remain a prominent landmark in the journey of my anime blogging.

Yuribou :: I no longer know this person and refuse to speak to them. One of the reasons for this is the person’s adoption of a .net domain name, which is utter lose and deserves to die with fire and hate. HATE!!

EDIT: and yes, I too now add random danbooru pictures into my random posts.

EDIT 2: I have two new blogrollees. Here they are:

Ex-Fansubber hitorigosomething in Japanese that I don’t understand :: I don’t read this blog either, mainly because Hinano’s a yaoi fangirl and doesn’t know the bliss that is blogging loliyuri. Uninteresting. Now, Hinano herself, on the other hand, is an interesting person. She can pronounce Japanese and French better than anyone at #animenano and has her own custom IRC stats to boot. She’s insane, and by insane I mean she has insane art skillz. She also used to be a fansubber, so I might start worshipping her ala lovelykitsune some time.

Xebek’s Blog :: I know nothing about this dude but he wanted me to write something about him. Let’s see how far I can get on bullshit. Let’s start with the guy’s header image. He has Aruruu with apple (win!), Chiyo-chan in shock mode (win!), Mikuru (he must be a jason fanboy! TO THE STAKE!!!), and some Mahoraba character (meh.). A stark contrast to the Anime Quote in his sidebar, some shitty Fate/Stay-night quote that’s completely out of place and… FSN-y (not a good thing). Now, Xebek has just started watching Mai-HiME. Or at least he just started blogging it. I’m not sure but I like making assumptions. Don’t you think it’s a bit late to start watching that show? I finished watching it for the fifth time last week.
