Well, here’re the summer anime I’m going to pick up and why I’m going to pick them up.

Flag: after Megami fansubs broke my Zegaboner, I need more mecha. I’ll be watching this until my organs fail in protest.

Night Head Genesis: for some reason, the trailer made me think of FLCL. This show has the coolest name ever since Peachy Princess Princess Creamy Mami-mami Cream, and thusly, I’ll be watching it through.

Binbou Shimai Monogatari: it has the word “shimai” in it. We need some good loliyuri incest to cure the scars left behind by FSN. notdotq needs fresh life blood. I need this show.

Mamotte! Lollipop: it has “roripop” in the title. I’m all over this shit.

Tsuyokiss: another hgame conversion, I take it. A number of people the opinions of whom I respect are interested in this, and, while the character designs looks like crap and the little blonde girl looks like she’ll be Suzumiya_4 and have a shitty seiyuu to boot, I can’t pass up bad harem anime!

Le Chevalier d’Eon: France? Swordplay? Necrophilia+siscon? CROSSDRESSING?!!!! It’s mine!

Zero no Tsukaima: it’s got mahou, it’s got a premise that lends itself to fanservice and possible harem. Fuck yes.

Bokura ga Ita: why does everyone gotta hate on this show? Just from the title it sounds awesome. Like one of those quazi-psychological romance-dramas. What’s more, it’s shoujo, and shoujo is the chicken soup of anime.

Coyote Ragtime Show: even if it’d been done once, or twice, or five times, or maybe even twenty, old men protecting little girls is fucking awesome. I need to pick up Solty Rei again sometime. Anyway. If this has high production quality, originality, and good music like it’s heralded to, it might be the win of the season.

Muteki Kanban Musume: the title has “musume” in the title. I’m hoping for more Wong-family situations.

Chokotto Sister: char. designs look like garbage, but it’s got the word sister in the title, so … watching.

Koi Suru Tenshi Angelique ~ Kokoro no Mezameru Toki ~: um, yeah. I’ll watch one episode, and if the bishounen are bishie enough I’ll continue.

Tona-gura!: because childhood friends are moe~

NHK ni Youkoso!: the premise sounds really cool to me. The title is also throbbing with vivacity.

Innocent Venus: too bad the PHAGs in this show aren’t PHLAGs. But lolicon, ++!! And mecha, ++!!

Otogi Jushi Akazukin Bundan: if those char. designs aren’t loli I don’t know what is. They look like they’re straight out of a sci-fi IchiMashi.

Kemono Zume: I’m looking for angst and blood. I can’t run on loliyuri harem incest alone, you know.

Mardock Scramble: I’ll watch an episode. According to Washi, it’s got lolis, and if that’s in fact the case, I’ll watch the show.

Man this season will be GOOD.
