Is it too much to ask?

I’m going to be impatient and DEMAND that we receive a full version of the OP to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Can anyone say, “best opening song since Avenger”? I hear people rave about how great the theme songs for Haruhi are, but … they’re not. Sure, the ED dance sequences are all kinds of awesome, but the songs themselves? Neither the OP nor ED are even good. Guys, open your eyes. Stop being deluded by the show. The songs are meh.

(On that note, why have the OP+ED of Haruhi dominated Kono Sono~’s radio since the 15th?)

(By the by, I’m less than impressed with the Engrish of Higurashi’s ED.)

(I hope I never have to make a post like this again. Do better, everyone.)

it is moist & delicious meta

and it's not even a lie!

  1. Nipponsei says May 24th.

And sides’ the songs for Haruhi by themselves, aren’t great, but it’s the dancing, just like you said, are winnars!

  2. There’s no dancing on your radio. -_-

  3. Maybe I should insert a .gif then. :O

  4. *lightbulb* Maybe you should!

  5. I’m loving Higurashi OP too, lol but why Avenger?

Haruhi OP is one disappointing single indeed.

  6. Because Gesshoku Grand Guignol is the previous best OP song ever. The OP visuals for Avenger weren’t grand (hell, the show itself wasn’t grand,) but it’s clearly Ali Project’s single best song (some of the instrumental BGM in Avenger is better). It sounds very Ali Project, yes, but it also sounds awesome, unlike much of their other music (the song of the MH game? Asuri Hime or some shit? Wtfbad.)

  7. Ashura HiME :) It was just… a messy song. ;)

  8. That’s the one. And yes.
